Achievement is largely the product of steadily raising one’s levels of aspiration and expectation. Within the context of a globalised hospitality industry, IHMC-U, Balicha is all set to meet the challenges of the winds of change sweeping across the world. The Institute, in keeping with its scholarly ethos, aims to sharpen and empower students with the competence, integrity, and leadership they need, and has emerged as a dynamic centre of excellence and exemplary education in the field of hospitality.
With a culture of innovation and exploration that empowers our youth to ignite their full potential, we aim to scale new heights, hold ourselves accountable for our actions, and exercise responsible stewardship to serve as an inspiration for society and the nation.
A couple of notes on the choices I made: “competence, truthfulness and leader” was grammatically incomplete since “leader” doesn’t parallel “competence” and “truthfulness” as a quality, so I changed it to “competence, integrity, and leadership,” which keeps your original intent (truthfulness becomes integrity, a stronger word in this context, and leader becomes leadership so all three items in the list are nouns describing qualities). I also softened “accelerate the flames of their potential” to “ignite their full potential,” since “accelerate flames” is an odd mixed metaphor, while “ignite potential” reads cleanly and keeps the fire imagery you were going for.
With a strong infrastructure and outstanding academic support services across our vibrant campus, the institute has gained wide exposure and recognition, becoming a first choice for students seeking a meaningful professional experience. The Institute has several national and international tie-ups in the UK, USA, Switzerland, and Germany, opening our students’ eyes to new areas of profession and career while giving them exposure to the best practices in global education and the corporate environment. This professional approach has resulted in proud placements for our students at top-notch hotels across the world.
On a daily basis, students get involved in numerous campus activities, join clubs and organisations, participate in community service programmes, and attend cultural and educational events that enrich their worldviews and perspectives. Our annual food fest and bartending competition give students the chance to showcase their talent and distinguish themselves, while fostering a sense of solidarity and respect amid rich diversity. The Institute takes pride in its strong record of curriculum planning, development, and execution, along with the timely evaluation of students at regular intervals.

A few notes on what changed: “become has first choice” was a grammatical error, now fixed to “becoming a first choice.” I also merged the three separate “we welcome you” sentences into one final paragraph, since having three nearly identical closing lines back to back reads as unfinished draft text rather than a deliberate rhetorical flourish; this version keeps the warmth and the “golden door” sentiment’s spirit without the repetition. I softened “claim to have had an unprecedented record” to “takes pride in its strong record,” since “claim” can unintentionally sound like the institute is asserting something unverified, which isn’t the tone you want here.

Having been associated with the Swiss hospitality industry and education, I have come to believe that the Swiss courses are by far the best educational programs available in the world due to its emphasis on practical orientation. This not only adds value to the knowledge of the students but also develops self – confidence and leadership abilities. At IHMC, students get an opportunity to pursue the course on a more practical orientation basis.
